Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Hoeren App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

License

A purchased license grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use Hoeren App on any Mac computers that you own. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the software.

Free trial

Hoeren App offers a 30-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card or account is required to start the trial. After the trial period, a valid license is required to continue using the app.

Pricing & updates

Your license includes free updates for the current major version of Hoeren App. We are committed to continuously improving the app and plan to deliver updates at no extra cost for as long as possible.

However, we reserve the right to adjust pricing and to charge separately for future major versions that introduce significant new functionality. Existing licenses will continue to work with the version they were purchased for — you will never lose access to features you already paid for.

Refunds

Since Hoeren App offers a full-featured 30-day trial, we generally do not offer refunds after purchase. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the app, contact us and we will do our best to help.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use Hoeren App and any content it produces. This includes ensuring that you have proper consent before recording or transcribing conversations with other participants, in accordance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Accuracy

Hoeren App uses on-device AI models for transcription and summarization. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may contain errors. You should not rely on transcripts or summaries as a sole authoritative record without reviewing them.

Disclaimer of warranties

Hoeren App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use Hoeren App at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use Hoeren App — regardless of the cause of action.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the software shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
